Linear thermal bridges
Linear thermal bridges
The table Linear thermal bridges under the properties, shows the thermal bridges that are present in the project. This table is normally empty.
The table needs to be filled in when:
- There is an EPG calculation and under Project data > Project settings > Ψ-values for transmission > Detailed;
- When a Building simulation is calculated.
Zone
- EPG
The column ’zone’ is the line where you can fill in the thermal bridges. The ’zones’ are made under ’ properties’ and ’zones’. A zone can be a calculated zone as well as a neigbouring unheated area or conservatory.
Room
- Gebouwsimulatie
This column ‘room’ is the designated place to fill in the properties of the linear thermal bridges.
Length
In the column length, the length of the linear thermal bridges can be filled in in metres. A thermal bridge can boarder on the: outdoors (par 6.1 NEN 1068:2012), the soil package (par 7.3 NEN 1068:2012) or boarder on an unheated area or conservatory (chapter 8 NEN 1068:2012).
Description
In this column ‘ description’ you can give a description of the linear thermal bridges. This will also be absolved into the reports.
Connection type
Ψ-values
In the column Ψ-values is the linear thermal heat transmittance (psi) value of the linear thermal bridge. Appendex G NEN 1068:2012 gives the flat rate values.
ε
In the column ε gives the sqmeter of the ventilation openings per meter girth length of the crawl space in m squared per meter. 0,0012 m2/m.
It is only possible to specify the surface area of the ventilation openings if Crawl space has been selected for Connection.
Filters
In every column of the table linear thermal bridges, you can apply filters. When a filter is activated, it will light up. With the filters you can change the visibility of the data.
Orientation
- Gebouwsimulatie
Choices include North, Northeast, East, Southeast, South, Southwest, West, Northwest.
